Patio's, Paths and Driveways

Patio's look fantastic when they are first laid but over time they become weathered and dirty. This is easily over looked as it can be a fairly slow process depending on its location but when patio's get dirty not only does the appearance suffer but they also become very slippery particularly when wet.

With a thorough wash using very high pressure water lichen, moss, algae and, of course, general dirt will be removed to bring back that freshly laid look. This also applies to paths, walls and driveways. We would always recommend that any block paving that we pressure wash, once dried has kiln dried sand brushed into the surface to fill the gaps and reduce the return of moss and weeds.

Decking and other Timber Structures

The same applies to decking in that when it gets dirty it becomes extremely slippery. Decking in shady areas can reach this stage in only one season.

Pressure washing the decking will bring back the appearance as well as its naturally grippy properties. Pressure washing does drive out the natural oils and preservatives that keep it protected so we always advise and offer that we treat it with deck oil to extend the lifetime of the deck.

Any Other Structures

Pressure washing is ideal for most situations for removing stubborn dirt outside of the home. We do offer Purewater Window Cleaning for cleaning fascias, guttering and conservatories but if they are particularly dirty then pressure washing will get the job done.
